A 1972 911 is hardly one of the most desired 911 cars on the planet in 2007. Don't see that many in Excellence or other magazines. It's a small subset of a small subset of car enthusiasts that are after the longhoods. So you sold your "special" car because you couldn't take car of it the way you wanted to. So what? Buy an SC or Carerra. One that's already roughed up for $14K, no emotional attachment. Quit grousing.
