Let's put it into perspective. Pelican buys a *lot* of parts from Porsche, yet if you added up all the parts that bought, it would be less than the cost of 2 Carrera GTs. So, the point is that the "classic" parts business is quite small for Porsche, considering the amount of volume that they currently do with the cars they are selling in the dealerships. Frankly, I'm surprised that they have been so good at supporting the cars in the past. Companies like Ferrari have been much worse.
