You misinterpret my post - I'm quite appreciative that I've been able to find as part numbers as I have for my '72, and at what could be seen as 'reasonable' prices considering all the factors/circumstances. It is the trend toward much higher prices and much lower availability that has many alarmed.
I briefly pondered restoring an '83 308 QV. It didn't need many parts at all, but just a brief investigation into parts availability and pricing shut the door on that idea...
