Sorry, I wasn't trying to be critical. But, I'm sticking with what wolf said. It does take an almost expert driver to drive one of those things. I admit it's very hard on my leg to even mash in the clutch. So I don't believe anyone can judge a lotus on it's performance wether it's an SHO, or an escort. Put a test driver in the lotus, then catch up with him in the Taurus. Not some 50 year old mid-life-crisis who goes around saying "guess what I bought a a a a lotus I think, or maby it's a Ferrari.
And also, I too have driven about any car you could name. Been to 2 driving schools, and auto-xed a 91 MR2 several times. If for some reason that matters.
