FWIW... I spoke to the owner of this car to get my facts straight
The ebay auction on this car ended at $41,600 US without meeting the set reserve price and the buy it now price was $55k. At the end of the auction the owner received a call with an offer of $47,500 for the car pending replacement of the worn original seats. That deal fell through and the car went back up for sale however, he did not put it back on ebay. It is currently still for sale and being considered for purchase by a buyer out of Europe given the weak US dollar.
