OH- be sure to bring someone else along to take notes on the consultations. You'll be overwhelmed, and you will need a second brain to help you.

Stay positive Janus, and get other opinions!

Both my parents were written off by doctors. My father 5 years ago and my mother more than 15 years ago - and both are doing very well, thank you very much.

A negative diagnosis is often the easiest (path of least resistance) for a doctor to give - and the least likely to get him sued.

So hang in there!
