one time on a job the woman told me she had never experienced racism as she did when she moved to the south from California. since she had the same skin color as me, I asked her about her ancestry. she said she was black of course. I replied, I hate niggers.. should have seen the look on her face. I explained I have no problems with blacks, I just don't like niggers, no matter what color they were. thinking about it for a bit, she laughed and said she hates niggers too. her white husband just sat there laughing. we were friends from then on. you don't want to be called something derogatory, then don't act like what the name implies. same goes for cracker, redneck, whitetrash, or any other name you can think of.
