Well, Frog, I like croissants too, but I was raised on toasted white bread.

That said, a wide slot toaster that could accommodate a sliced croissant would be excellent.
For me there is something special about a lightly and uniformly toasted slice of bread which leaves the inside of the slice warmed, but not toasted. If you've never had such a piece of toast, your life is incomplete and unfulfilled.
