Been here and there for about the same amount of time, although most of my posting is there. I think the 1000 is low....I am a paid member there and have been for years...and I do not feel cheated. While I enjoy both boards, I have always found their 944 section more informative and have gotten responses quicker to issues with my cars....responses and insight worth much more than the annual membership fee....

I think what made it different than say this board is that there was a feeling of having actually joined something...almost like paying for it made it more important (I know...that's foolish!). I wish John and Jenn only the best and I am happy for them but I can't say I am happy about the sale....
