I know several people at Internet Brands. To me they are not a faceless corporation. They are making extraordinary efforts to preserve the communities they bought. In some cases, adding financial stability, server stability, etc. In most cases, where possible, they have the forum originator continuing to manage the forums on a compensated basis.
It only makes sense, otherwise what are they buying?
