I'm really digging this thread. The bikes are gorgeous; they're the sort of stuff a road cyclist likes.
So I have a question: if I wanted to build a cafe racer, where do I start? What's a good bike to start with? Four stroke? Two stroke? A modern motorcycle or something older?
