I personally limit my speeding to open highway roads.

In my neighborhood the speed limit is 20mph, my neighborhood is considered very safe and family friendly and like the old days, kids ride their bikes in the street and dogs/cats occasionally wander around. when little kids are around 10mph makes a big difference.
