The 2.0 E MFI in my car is also the same as Jeff described. I've got a really long (home made) screwdriver that came from the previous owner. It fits throught the access hole in the fan shroud and reaches all the way back to the adjustment screw. It was made per a drawing in the Bosch MFI service manuals.
