Dearest Lubby, RE A Country Run By Men
I thought about your comments. A friend of mine had an interview for a job that was for providing VIP Security for the Venetian Hotel and its owner. The detail is composed mostly of ex Israelie Mosad operatives. My friend came over and we were discussing how to handle the interview. One of the questions I asked him was, "What if someone walks up to you and hits you for no apparent reason, what do you do?" The answer was beyond self defense aspect wasnot to become reactive, but to ascertain the motive and agenda of that person.
Several days after the interview my friend stopped by again, and he said by the way that very question I had posed to him about someone hitting him had been asked by the Interviewer.
So my response to you is that in the business of Security whether its personal or national you do not have the luxury of being reactive, you have to take the longer view.
