OK, Mike, then you explain it to me.
Christians believe in the bible and believe the bible is god's word.
In that Bible, God clearly instructs man not to get tattoos.
How could that be any more clear? So this group chose to ignore a direct instruction from God. That's their business.
But claiming that it is OK and the bible doesn't tell them not to get tattoos is a lie.
BTW, the bible also says that all men are sinners, all men will sin, and God knows that and understands and will shower us with his grace even though we are not worthy. He knows we are all a bunch of screw-ups and loves us anyway.
I never, ever said that other people should not get tattos. (God said that.) I said that I will not get one and my children will not get one and I explained why.
I commit sins too, but that doesn't make them OK.
