Ebay question. . .
I had a motorcycle helmet listed on ebay with a reserve price of $420 (Shoei X11). Up until the last second of the auction, the highest bid was $316. Literally, at the last micro-second a bid came in EXACTLY at my reserve price of $420 from a new bidder.
How can that be? I know there's sniping software, but your reserve price is supposed to be hidden/confidential.
Also, I had limited the sale to the lower 48 only. The winning bidder is from the UK. Am I obligated to sell it to this person? I had provided a flat shipping amount to the lower 48. It would certainly cost a lot more to ship to the UK.
