I agree with PBH. Check with your dealer. Keep in mind that the service department wants you as a client. There is more money in the service than in the sale of the car! (for the dealer)
I have heard that the warranty will be honored but that they may not give you the same level of service that they would give their own customers. I find this hard to believe because you are becoming their own customer.
Check into it and let us know.
On another note... My Boxster from Georgia just went through the RIV inspection at Canadian Tire and passed. Tomorrow I go to the SAAQ and get my license plates.
