Entertainment is often recession-proof to a degree, but is usually far from a steady job.

Otherwise, certain forms of credit. I work in sub-prime and haven't noticed much change in customer payment habits with changes in the economy, up or down. Most of our customers are completely unaffected by things like interest rates, market shifts, currency shifts, etc. The only ones that are are those that drive trucks for a living, and even in hard times they're doing better than many of our other customers. I guess it comes down to our company being structured to expect our customers to be always in the midst of hard times.
