only guys i know that do enjoy them are gun shop owners. wonder why. get their ammo at cost. and when tired of them sell for profit.
FBI actually went back to HK and had HK MP-5's converted back to semi auto. ie. a HK-94 like i have.
too much muzzle rise, and lack of bullets on bad guy. fer sure an awesome amount of lead downrange, but what counts is rounds on target to defeat bad guy.
all day long i can hit target at 400-500 meters with stock HK-94 w/no scope. click that trigger 30-40 times and target is no mas.
hell of alot of fun and no federal crap to deal with.
same as above happened with M-14 auto, TOO MUCH MUZZLE RISE! detuned it to semi auto because most GI's unless yer 'lil john from "combat" could handle it.
even a pissant .223 M-16 barrel comes up on full auto. really have to stand into them to get rounds on target.
happy medium you will notice when you look at HKPRO.COM is 3-round burst navy trigger group.
rule of thumb..............long barrel with belt fed ammo keeps bad guys from yer pillbox!
short barrel with 30-40 rd sticks or drums wipes out bad guys in close quarters ie. spray the room down ie. hose it!
