Currently I'm having a bit of a nostalgia fest, largely thanks to good old youtube. Growing up in England during the eighties the highlight of my year was always the British round of the World Rally Championship (also helped by the fact that other rallys may have been televised but were hidden away in the TV schedules).

So I figured some of you lot might appreciate some of these videos, its gotta make a change from NASCAR hasn't it?!

The first short vid is from 1979, to be honest I would have been about four at the time so its a little before my time but its got some interesting cars like the Lancia Stratos and Triumph TR8 but also lots and lots of Ford Escorts......



Now this is getting into my era 1984, the emergence of Group B



1985 Group B now in full swing, great footage in two parts, shame about the irritating commentator!

Now this is from 1993, Group B is long dead but Juha's Celica GT4 and Colin's Impreza still lool pretty impressive.
