It is a tricky time to be buying in HI. The condos where we have been going each winter(Oahu) have fallen from the highest 300,000's to down into the 200,000's in a relatively short period. I can't believe Maui is any different trend-wise. It is a lovely place and I totally understand why you would want to grab a piece for your own. Make a promise to come back next year and see if you still feel the same, then maybe it's for you.
