Ummmm.....you live in the Pacific Northwest and you go Michigan to hunt? Perhaps you have family there. Section 2 in Idaho is a great place for White Tail and Wapiti. They've got better mulies in the South (Colorado, Wyoming, etc). Sure, that's where record bull racks come from also, but Idaho is a good place for hunting success. Section 2, or Section 1, anyway. I agree with Jeff. 180 is a good bullet weight as is 200, especially if it tumbles. It's not going to mess up any meat, unless you shoot the darned thing in the tenderloin.
