Jeeps are awesome, and pretty reliable, but not so terrific on the gas. Toyotas, Subarus, and Hondas are extremely reliable. That's why I mentioned the above models for your parameters. Cheap, gas mileage is pretty decent, and they are lightweight which is great in the snow. Another plus is they have a decent amount of room inside!
