I have identified (though not solved) the problem as my wireless connection with Verizon FIOS. I took a trip to France last week with my laptop, and I had no problems connecting wirelessly with Safari to the catalog from my parents house. And back home, I still cannot connect to the catalog part of the website, though I can from the PC (also wireless). I still can`t figure out the fix to that problem.
