Tool problems

Problem #1:
I have an older Craftsman table saw with a "Flex Drive" cable instead of a belt. I was cutting up some beautiful old mahogany a couple nights ago and the cable broke. Sears Canada has a new one for $156. Sears USA has the same part for $75.49, but won't ship to Canada. Anyone know any other places where I can get parts for tools? It's Craftsman Model # 113.241691, part #62884

Problem #2:
Changing glow plugs in an older VW diesel is a pain, especially the two behind the injection pump. With practice and luck, it can be done in about an hour using a 12mm ratcheting boxed-end wrench. Even then, it's slow going as you only have 2-3mm of back & forth room for the wrench.

Has anyone invented a gear wrench that uses a worm gear & a crank? Something like this hi-tech artists representation:

If not, would someone please invent one ASAP? I'll take an 8mm & and a 12mm. This would make changing glow plugs a 15 minute job
