Since Porsche recommends the Chevron Techron Fuel cleaner I use Chevron 93 octane primarily and if I get into a tight spot I just try to avoid the little no name places and stick to major brands. It wasn't a scientific test, but before I switched to Chevron I made a long trip and got about 21mpg after the switch to only Chevron gas I made a much longer trip, but averaged a higher average speed and actually saw the mileage increase to 23mpg. I'm sure there are lot's of factors that could have made the difference, but running higher speed and rpms I would have expected my fuel consumption to go up not down. I'm sticking with Chevron.
