That leftmost kneepad nut really got me boiling. I think it was designed by a guy with 8" long quadruple U-jointed fingers.
After quite a while of swearing and skinned knuckles I finally just tore the hell out of the kneepad and cut off the stud (hacksaw). I was replacing a bad pad so fortunately this wasn't a problem.
