They aim at the mistletoe cluster and pull the trigger. BANG! Mistletoe everywhere! They pick up the good pieces and sell them at local markets. Crazy as it sounds, it's probably safer than a tall ladder on uneven ground.

I saw a news reporter covering a story around here (in AL/TN) where a guy was using a .22 to shoot the mistletoe out of a tree. I guess the point is clear......use whatever tool you need!
