1987 944na. 500miles so far and i love the car.

50deg day. rolling down the highway at 60mph. also in stop and go traffic.

i see the gauge get as high as the 2/3 mark. that seems prety close to the red part so i thought i would post up and see if it is normal. it doesn't just sit there either. it will drop down close to the 1/3 mark at times and then rise back up near or even right on top of the 2/3 mark.

since it does it when i am moving down the highway i dont think it's the fans. it is full of coolant. almost seems like a sticky tstat. is this amount of swing normal or do i have a problem?
