I do have a ? about the stock shifter knob. The leather is starting to wear out pretty bad on one side of the shifter. I saw here at Pelican that I can either just get the leather sleeve or a whole unit: shifter and sleeve together. Just the sleeve is 1/2 the cost.

Can I just get this sleeve? Will the fit on the top be as good as new? Is it very, very difficult to replace the sleeve? (I've heard it is very difficult to mount)
