Owning a pawn shop is not a license to fence stolen items. Was there a police report made on the burglary? If so, I can't imagine your neighbors insurance agent isn't interested in recoverying all the items. Mabye the toolbox was too small to be of consequence to insurance? Still I would get the police involved.
