So, we're stockpiling water, since no power means no water when you're on a well.
Woodshed full, so heat for the woodstove
Plenty of batteries for the flashlights and radio
lots of kerosene for the lamps
both propane bottles full for the BBQ
Any tips from Guys in Florida and Lousiana? We don't get high hurricane winds here often.
Oh...and if I don't post next week? I'm not mad...I'll just be without power.

Been through three hurricanes in 14 years on the Potomac...two Class I's and one Class II. Total time without grid power (with and without the 'canes) about a month.
Total time without power: zippy.
Get a generator, even a small one.
