Better yet. This exchange took place between me and a muslim community leader, live on the air.
I said, "Is it true that the prophet mohammed, married Aiesha, the beloved wife, when she was 6 & he was 52, but because he was such a stand up guy, he didn't throw the bone to her 'till she was 9?
The guy's face wrinkles all up & he says, "yes, but people matured a lot faster back then."
I say, "really, twice as fast?"
He says "yes, twice as fast."
I said, "I'm looking for a date. You got any 12 yr old girls at home?"
He didn't look too happy.
