Afraid not...this is all my friend said:
in early November Tom Warth (founder of Classic Motorbooks) and I drove his 289 Cobra (he bought it for $7K in 1970) from Minneapolis to Austin then did the Texas 1000. Great adventure! Here's a shot of me fixing a loose wire to the electric fan. Note typical 7-11 customer's car in background.
