Ben, my engine was also very leaky (another reason for the drop), this was hiding under a good coating of oil. Looks like my plans to have the car back on the road for start of next summer are no longer realistic. I am worried that the other side will be just the same...

OK, how about some recommendations for whilst I am in there with the welder, what else should I improve/upgrade?
