OK, so - what is the best option here? Can I just replace the rusted metal part in the corner, or do I have to cut out the complete cross brace and replace with a new one? Part of me is thinking that it might be easier to replace the complete cross brace than try to fabricate the corner section. Although as i have said, the rust looks to be primarily only on the underside seam where it should attach to the remainder of the car...
Any advice would be appreciated
