I've had problems with my Vista machine since I loaded the antivirus software from CA. I unloaded it and bought McAfee, recently I've had problems with IE opening a lot of sites. For example, I went to Mozilla and on their home page, the icon that on my other computer says "Download Mozilla for free" doesn't even appear. Also lots of other sites that I click on nothing happens. My wife set a restore point far enough back that it no longer sees the McAfee either. Gateway says I should reinstall the operating system, which I'd rather not do if I don't have to. Its supposed to be a 64 bit processor, but when I went to the microsoft site it says the IE version 7 for 64 bit won't work on my computer.

Any help would be appreciated.
