no, So Cal did not burn to a crisp. A very, very small percentage of it burned. This is a very large place.
The flooding expected is very exaggerated and isolated. We are going to get an inch or two of rain in some places, less in others. some places will have mud slides, some will flood, but it will probably be isolated to .0001% of the total area.
The news picks the very worst place they can find and then represents it as if the entire state is in the same condition, that isn't true at all. They don't say that one street is flooded or 6 houses out of 2 million are damaged.
