Cindy just got off the phone. Giggling. She had talked with a neighbor who recently had cataract surgery. During the process, Cindy would drive this neighbor to appointments, etc.
Today was a big day for the neighbor. This lady passed the test, got her driver's licence back
But the funny part? After being told she's passed, the clerk handed our neighbor a form, then said: "Take this and we'll call you."
Yep, our neighbor is a good citizen, always follows bureaucratic instructions.
She drove home.
I'll bet this clerk will now say; "Take this. Have a seat, and we will call your name."
