They are light, the frames will not handle beefed up hand loads very well. The top strap cracks. I live in the heart of Griz country, the Ruger Red Hawk's & SW are by far the strongest and most popular Griz side arm, with the back country pro's including the state and fed wildlife folks. They are heavy but strong. The Taurus Titanium are popular with the Alaska Bush Pilots but for emergency only no target work with heavy hand loads I think they are fine with factory ammo.
