My first wade fishing trip in Baffin Bay (South Texas) in the late 80's.
32 1/2" 10+ lbs Speckled Trout. Caught on 12lb test using 1/16th oz. leadhead and tout tail (artificial bait).
AND I ATE IT!!!! This fish would have won me a boat had I entered the STAR tournament by 2+ lbs. Once in a lifetime fish...i've been back dozens of times since then and haven't caught anything even close.
