Guys, no need to priority mail. I just did what Joe said-bought a 14mm (not 13!) deep socket, cut a slot wide enough to pass the cable out the side and as high as you can. It worked like a charm, took all of 5 minutes to cut with my Dremel and a cutoff blade, and cost $4, the cost of the socket.
