+1

Note to the whiners: You do not have any "right" not to be offended! Grow the F*ck up.

If you know there may be pictures in a thread that you might find offensive, or your "spouse" or "daughter" (won't somebody think of the children!?!?!?!?!) will not like ... don't look at the thread. Simple, elegant, and all it requires is self-control on your part.

"Oh, but I waaaaaaaahhhnt to look, so everyone else has to change to suit me... and I'll couch my selfishness in piety, sanctimony and 'objectification' language."

You have no "right" to distort a thread to your idiosyncracies. Obviously, the natural trend for the random picture thread, is towards skin and breasts. Yes, there is a "grid girls" thread, so? We, the majority of those who post here, have no issue with, and some enjoy, having breasteses on the RP thread. Deal with it.

If you want a thread you can feel 'safe' looking at, start your own. Ask Z-man to "super moderate" it. Any skin at all; anything that could possibly, in any way shape or form, offend anybody, or their spouse or child, gets spiked. If the rest of us, ie the "market" think/feel/fear the way you do, it'll get a million hits as well. My bet is it won't. The lowest common denominator, in this case, "who can win the most easily offended sweepstakes", doesn't appeal to anybody, except those trying to out-sensitive and out-sanctimony each other.

Your hang-ups are a "you" problem, not a problem with dzls or K roman or anybody else. "You" don't want to see... "you" find it objectionable ... etc. Too bad. Stop making you problems into our problems. Don't freaking look.

And if you got "caught" or embarrassed by an image, and your s/o or child is offended... that's still a "you" problem. If, knowing there are likely to be images unsuitable for a child, you click on the thread when a child could wander into the room --> YOU problem; you take responsibility. For once.

If the spouse is offended, and she can't understand this is a bunch of guys, from around the world, for whom this is a clubhouse/locker room/private lounge ... that's a "her" problem that she's making into a "you" problem. Deal with it yourself, rather than try to force, coerce, and or guilt through piety all of the rest of us to fit your (or your spouse's) ideal "why can't all guys act like they did in 1950s movies?" world.

BTW -- I have no issue with z-man's discretion. I think he's got a pretty good barometer for acceptable, and if he errs on the side of caution, so be it.

You are cowards; and not because you don't like to/want to see prurient images (let's cut that deliberate misinterpretation for martyrdom off at the pass). I do not have, and I don't believe anybody here has, any "problem" with people who don't want to see boobies. But don't force your fear on those of us who either like the images, or are indifferent to them.

What I'd like is if Z-man had the stones to post the identity of each member of the self-appointed moral Gestapo who messages him with a complaint. Don't let our craven moral superiors and arbiters of propriety hide behind anonymity, Z! Don't be the proxy of those who don't have the stones to identify themselves, but yet want us to conform to their version of acceptable. Don't enable the cowards!

There is no right not to be offended. Grow up, and drop the "I'm offended, and therefore morally superior, so you must act how I want... so I won't have to be offended again" martyrdom. Pathetic. In fact, if this is how you "reason," please don't have kids. ever.

How about this, Z: Image deleted because _________ complained, and was incapable of exercising the self control not to look at this thread again.

Welcome Back, K(otter) Roman! Huzzah!
