Guys-
After looking at it some more, I'm 99% sure that this is someone's real-life rendition of the
Prowl autobot from
Transformers.
This explains
many of the car's features:
- The white/black color scheme (It's a Police car)
- The black nose with a bump up in the center (the bumper came up higher between the headlights on the original)
- The mystery badge (The original features a police badge with a star in the middle - much larger of course)
- The drop-down headlights (Originals were recessed)
- The black vents in the hood (which apparently chagned shape and position, but there were always a number of them)
- Any extra pieces that pop-out, pop-in, or otherwise look like they would move
- The triangular form (gray on this car) isn't exact, but there WAS a black traigular piece on the leading edge of the original's hood.
- The bulge in the hood just past the area covered by the tarp (note that the bulge is rounded in the front, just like the Transformer where his head folds out)
- The prominent orange reflectors
Things we aren't quite sure about, but can take guesses:
- To the left of the grey triangle, there is a shape that looks almost like a fat "H". On the right side is something else, but it is partially obscured in all of the photos. If this was a "P", it would fit, since the original car had "Highway Patrol" written on it, something you certainly couldn't do on a street car (save for the movie sets).
- There is something sticking up under the tarp in the rear. This could be a fake weapon, a wing, or anything else that the car carried in the TV series.
