Guys, thanks for the advice. My sensor is the newer 14 mm. type and is only a year old, so I want to remove it intact without severing the wire. I do have a slotted 13 mm socket I've used for VW's in the past, but it was a PITA to grind away. I was kinda looking for something like Russ has. Who is the maker of that socket Russ?

I tried grinding a slot in the box end of my Craftsman 14, but just removing that bit of metal weakened the box enough so it slips over the flats when trying to turn it. That sensor is really in there!

edited to say: the rush is off BTW. I just took the motor over to Rob At S-Car-Go and he used a socket very similar to Russ' to remove it. I'd like to grab one of those to have the right tool for the job however.
