+1 on chapo's and Eric 951's comments.
Why would any kid agree to go to Arkansas - its not like Petrino can look him (or his parents) in the eye and say "Come play for me - I'm committed to Arkansas and I'm going to be your coach the whole time".
And no, I'm not naive in believing that college football isn't a business, it is, but I still do believe that coaches (whether they are youth, high school, college or pro) have responsibility for exhibiting and teaching morals.
Case in point - last night at the end of my 11-year old son's basketball practice, a kid complained that someone had thrown his gatorade into the trash can. Coach (a dad) asked the team who did it. One kid (to his credit) fessed up. Coach had WHOLE team run liners, with the explanation that they are a TEAM and what one does impacts the TEAM. Point was made and noted -- during the car ride home, my son and another teammate talked about it amongst themselves and came to the same conclusion as the coach. All for one and one for all.
Obviously, Petrino is all about all for one - himself.
