Actually his decision makes me question his commitment to Atlanta during the entire season. It is not like Arkansas just decided last week that Petrino was "their man". He obviously knew they were interested in him and perhaps that distraction is what contributed to some of his questionable coaching moves and perceived aloofness by veterans. He signed a (4 or 5 year IIRC)contract with Atlanta and when things started going sour during the offseason with the Vick mess I think he immeadiately began thinking of ways he could get himself out of the situation. Just the quality one would want in a head coach--when the going gets tough, quit.
