Ian, mine is a Koken, or maybe "Ko-ken" socket made in Japan. The steel is very thick, perhaps because 2/3 of the socket is cut away. It appears that the part # is 3300FN. I wish I remembered which website I ordered it from.
It is a 14mm 6 point type of socket. I used it to remove my CHT sensor in a moment of confusion over my idling problems, and re-installed it with no damage to the sensor wire. I guess I have a spare CHT sensor too.
