As for the Supercar races they are run on a mixture of race tracks and street circuits both around Australia and there is also one round each in China, Bahrain, and New Zealand as far as I know.

I probably need to qualify an earlier statement I made on street courses.....I'd probably love to watch the round in Surfers Paradise. I had the opportunity in July to end up a week long business trip with an afternoon and evening there. That would be spectacular place to watch your Holdens and Fords running.
BTW, it looks like we'll be getting a version of your Utes soon here in the states, I love those cars. I had two Chevy El Caminos in my youth.
PS- Don't have to worry about parking meters with the meter maids running around....
