Ulrich,

The above scenario will occur with #85 completely disconnected if you inadvertently connect the black/yellow wire (going to the horns) to #87a instead of #87. Looking at the pins of the horn relay gives you a mirror-image of the socket's pin orientation (pin location) and could easily lead to a mis-label.

Without #85:
----- power from #30 is directly transmitted to terminal #87a (normally closed)
----- no power at #87 (normally open)

Only way the horns will sound (#85 totally eliminated) is for black/yellow wire to have power (??????). Please verify and keep us posted. Thanks.
